A short while ago The Gadget Show ran an article on web scams that involved certain unscrupulous individuals conning people into bogus ‘free iPad’ situations. These false scams were really hurting the freebie industry and genuine websites like this were being dragged down with all the allegations.

Unfortunately the researchers of The Gadget Show made the mistake of including a screenshot from a FreebieJeebies account in the background.

This caused huge uproar in the genuine freebie community and The Gadget Show, after extended research, were forced to issue an apology in the next show.

We hope that this will extend the hand of friendship between freebie sites and the general population that may feel somewhat unsure of the authenticity of the world of freebies.
